The L-505UX MKII is the entry level class AB amplifier in the Luxman range. The amplifier can supply 100 watts per channel in to speakers rated at 8 ohms.

For vinyl enthusiasts there is an inbuilt phono stage which can accept a moving coil or moving magnet cartridge. Other analogue inputs include four RCA unbalanced inputs, a tape loop and a pair of balanced XLR inputs. There are fixed and variable RCA outputs.

LECUA Volume Contol

LECUA stands for Luxman Electronically Controlled Ultimate Attenuator, and is at the core of any Luxman amplifier. The volume control sits directly in the signal path and therefore is an incredibly important part of any design. The LECUA control allows for smooth, incremental control over the volume level, up to a whopping 88 separate increments. The accuracy of this system minimises deterioration of the audio signal, preserving the fidelity of the original signal.

ODNF Circuit – Only Distortion Negative Feedback

This a a proprietary Luxman circuit that feeds back any distortion detected in the signal path resulting in highly accurate reproduction of the smallest of audio signals
